A Christmas In 7 Pictures

My little reindeer experienced his first Christmas. Success!

My little man learned the difficulty of waiting … and waiting … and waiting.

My grandma brought me her recipe collection. [Reverential pause] This, friends, is a national treasure.

Dreams really do come true.

I began the tradition of setting out the red, silk table runner we bought in Thailand–a little way of honoring a country my family holds in our hearts.

My mom and I played our traditional Scrabble match. Notice, we used the unabridged dictionary. We take it seriously.

Merry Christmas to you and yours–

  1. Merry Christmas! Lovely pictures – hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday!

  2. Omgosh — how wonderful everything is — what lovely traditions and legacies. Andrew is gorgeous and so is your little reindeer. I think that’s the first picture we’ve seen of him. What is his name, if it’s not too nosy or too personal for your comfort?

God bless you at Christmastime and always!

  3. Thank you for the sweet note! Your compliments are kind. My little reindeer is Steven. :) He is named for the much loved brother of my husband who died in 1998. We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did, too! Thank you for following the blog!

    • Aww, well little Steven is a very handsome legacy for your husband’s dear brother. Thanks so much for sharing him with us. :o)
