Today is potentially the coldest day since the beginning of time and, as irony would have it, the word of the day is WARM.
I’ll be honest. My first inclination was to post a photo of the heating pad I am reclining against since I tweaked my back overnight. What did you DO? you ask. Well, humility prevents me from telling you the story as it involves helping someone innocent cross the street.
No. Actually nothing. I did nothing. Nice, huh?
But since my heating pad is boring, I decided to post a photo of the treat that awaits my son when he rises from his afternoon nap. Aren’t these mugs the best? My husband is a recently minted youth pastor here in Illinois and a precious group of teens showed up on our doorstep over the holidays bearing a basket full of goodies, these included. Honestly, coffee and chocolate are an excellent way to a youth pastor’s heart. (So, thankfully, my kids and I left him some!)
