A Year in Review: 2013

Merry Christmas! I decided it would be easier and more efficient to do this here than to try and cram a bunch of photos onto a postcard (though it might have been fun). Here is our year in 12 pictures. Enjoy–

JANUARY: Off to a good start. Bright-eyed and…you get it.

FEBRUARY: Not such a great month as Steven was admitted into the hospital. Thankfully, he only stayed a couple of days. Here he is with his grandma.

Mom and Steven

MARCH: Andrew surprised us all by showing up in this shirt to a dinner with guests. More on this embarrassing story here.

APRIL: We watched our neighbor’s house burn.

Also in April, we made a family pilgrimage to Chicago to register Andrew’s adoption with the Thai Embassy. We had a great family getaway!

MAY: Andrew played on his first soccer league. He scored several goals…at the last game. We are excited to see if any of the skills stick next season.

JUNE: Luke and I celebrated 10 years of marriage.

Also in June, Andrew turned 6 and Steven turned 1.

JULY: Andrew, Steven, and I spent a month in Wisconsin with Luke’s parents. Luke eventually joined us.

AUGUST: Andrew began kindergarten! He is loving school and learning every day!

SEPTEMBER: Andrew and I enjoyed being in a wedding on the first day of Autumn.

At the end of September, we moved to Illinois! We are excited to see what God has planned for 2014.

Thanks for following along!
